Engine break-in ...

It will be carried out 1000-1500 km. In the period engine break-in long unceasing crossing and overheating of the engine is not recommended. Recommended speed on the first transfer - 10-20 km per hr, on the second transfer - 15-35 km per hr, thirds to transfer - 35-50 km per hr., the fourth - 50-60 km per hr. Completely it is not recommended to open choker against the stop the terminator, even on neutral speed. Before each departure it is desirable to warm up the engine. For the best work of the engine recommended gasoline octane level 66-76. If octane level is higher, the engine will overheat and the piston group may burn out. At engine break-in it is forbidden to load a motorcycle in weight maximum. It is forbidden to go at the superheated engine in order to prevent sticking rings.



 
1. Before the beginning break-in it is necessary to merge oil from the engine and to fill new marks 15w40 mineral. After run it is necessary to replace of 500 kms, oil with washing the engine. 2. The Box of transfers. Oil in a box to change the ambassador engine break-in or 1000 km. Run. Oil 85w90 transmission gear mineral oil (Pic.03 - a jellied aperture, Pic.04 - a drain aperture) In Dnepr 11&16 a box 1,4 litre. Oils, in K-750, M 72 0.8 litre.

3. At occurrence of knock of valves in cylinders it is necessary to check up a backlash of valves. It should be equal 0,1 mm (Pic.05, Pic.06, Pic.07). Check of a backlash is made turning a cranked shaft kickstarter before clearing each valve by a camshaft.

4. At possible lumbagos in the cylinder in time engine break-in and the ambassador it is necessary to check up a backlash between contacts of the breaker. At their full disconnection the backlash should be equal 0,5 mm. (Pic.10, Pic.11, Pic.12, Pic.13).

5. At occurrence of knock in an axis of a steering column at once it is necessary to tighten a nut. (Pic.12, Pic.13) If not to make it in time, the plug will break down. At occurrence of knock in shock-absorbers of a plug, it is necessary to check up presence of oil (Pic.14, Pic.15) If oil is not present, it is necessary to add 130 gram shock some oil in each shock-absorber.

6. While in service it is necessary to tighten wheel chock. In process of deterioration (Pic.16, Pic.17, Pic.18) it is necessary to keep up, that bolts were not untwisted in order to prevent breakage studs.

7. At occurrence of oil on a drainage aperture of the bridge it is necessary change an stuffing-box (Pic.19, Pic.20) Oil may to get on wheel chockands brakes will give up.

8. Because of bad quality of the Ukrainian gasoline probably a contamination float chamber of the carburetors.

9. In the period engine break-in periodically to check an inhaling of bolts of the head of cylinders.
